General terms of access to the service
These general terms of access (“Terms of Access”) govern access to the online areas provided by Medical Logistics Europe: the “Buyback offers” portal, the customer area, the logistics access by link and the seller portal (together, “the Service”). Version 2026-09-23.
1. Purpose and scope
The Service allows holders of medical imaging equipment, customers and partners of Medical Logistics Europe (“MLE”) to submit and follow a quotation or buyback request (request form and “Buyback offers” portal), to view the equipment entrusted to MLE and its logistics status (customer area, logistics access by link) and to describe the equipment they wish to sell (seller portal).
The Terms of Access apply to any person who creates an account, opens an access or transmits information through one of these portals (“the User”). They are supplemented by the General Terms of Use of the website and by the Confidentiality and Data Protection Agreement, which form an integral part of them.
2. Publisher of the Service and acceptance
The Service is published by Medical Logistics Europe, EURL, 204 Avenue de Colmar, 67100 Strasbourg, France, SIRET 103 690 046 00018, contact@mleurope.fr, +33 (0)3 66 66 58 97, www.mleurope.fr.
Access to the Service is subject to the express acceptance of the Terms of Access, evidenced by the box ticked after reading the texts in full. The accepted version, its date, the IP address and the browser used are recorded. When the texts change, the new version is presented at the next sign-in and must be accepted to continue using the Service.
3. Access to the portals and account creation
- “Buyback offers” portal: account created at the User's initiative from the quotation request form; the login is the contact e-mail address, the password is chosen by the User (at least ten characters) and the account is activated with a code received by e-mail.
- Customer area: account created at MLE's invitation, activated through a personal link and then a password chosen by the User.
- Logistics access: personal link and password provided by MLE, without creating an account.
- Seller portal: personal invitation link with a limited validity period.
The User warrants the accuracy of the information provided (identity, position, facility, contact details) and undertakes to keep it up to date. Access is reserved for persons acting in the course of their professional activity and authorised to represent the declared facility.
4. Account security and two-factor authentication
Credentials are strictly personal. The User does not disclose them to any third party and takes all reasonable measures to keep them confidential. Signing in to the “Buyback offers” portal includes a second step: a one-time code sent to the account's e-mail address. The User may declare a trusted device for thirty days; they do so only on a device for their exclusive use.
Any use of the account is deemed to be made by its holder. In case of loss, theft or suspected unauthorised use, the User immediately changes their password or informs MLE at contact@mleurope.fr. Sign-in attempts are limited in number and logged.
5. Obligations of the User
- Use the Service in accordance with its purpose and the applicable regulations.
- Not attempt to access data, accounts or functions not intended for them.
- Not disrupt the operation of the Service: abusive automation, circumvention of limits, injection of malicious content.
- Not transmit unlawful, defamatory content or content infringing third-party rights.
- Respect the confidentiality of the commercial information exchanged with MLE (quotations, offers, prices, conditions).
6. Transmitted content: photos, documents, descriptions
The User may transmit photographs, documents (maintenance reports, option lists, data sheets) and equipment descriptions. The User warrants that they hold the rights required for their communication and their use by MLE for the purposes of evaluating, quoting, buying back and reselling the equipment, including the reproduction of the photographs in MLE's commercial documents, where applicable after anonymisation (facility names, logos, faces).
The content must not contain any patient data (medical images, identities, records) nor any personal data other than that of professional contacts; the User ensures that the photographed screens and documents are free of such data. Photograph metadata (location, device) is removed on receipt. MLE may refuse or remove any non-compliant content.
7. Availability and evolution of the Service
MLE strives to provide continuous access to the Service but guarantees neither its permanent availability nor the absence of errors. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates or security reasons, without notice in an emergency. MLE may change the features of the Service. The Service is provided “as is”; access to the portals is free of charge.
8. Suspension and deletion of access
MLE may suspend or close an access, without compensation, in the event of a breach of the Terms of Access, a security risk, prolonged inactivity or at the end of the business relationship. Access links (logistics access, seller portal, customer area invitation) have a limited validity period and may be revoked at any time.
The User of the “Buyback offers” portal may delete their own account (“My account” page) after confirmation by password and a code received by e-mail; the effects of this deletion are described in the Confidentiality and Data Protection Agreement.
9. Liability
The information displayed in the portals (statuses, dates, locations, progress) is provided for information purposes and has no contractual value; only the documents signed between the parties (accepted offers, contracts, final packing lists) are authoritative.
MLE cannot be held liable for indirect damage, loss of data or business resulting from the use or the inability to use the Service, nor for the consequences of inaccurate information transmitted by the User. MLE's liability, if established, is limited to direct and proven damage. Nothing in the Terms of Access excludes MLE's liability in the event of gross negligence or wilful misconduct, nor deprives the User of the rights granted to them by mandatory law.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
The Terms of Access are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Strasbourg (France), including in the event of multiple defendants or third-party proceedings, subject to the mandatory rules applicable to consumers.
